Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements by Position
🍽️ Hostess
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the restaurant
- Manage table reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently
- Coordinate with servers and floor staff to ensure smooth guest flow
- Provide guests with menus and basic information about the restaurant
- Handle guest inquiries and initial concerns with professionalism
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hostess or front-of-house role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-groomed, confident, and guest-focused presentation
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
🍹 Waitress / Waiter
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining service standards
- Upsell menu items and recommend specials to enhance the guest experience
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and guest needs are anticipated
- Process payments accurately and handle POS systems
Requirements
- Prior waitering/serving experience in a restaurant or F&B outlet preferred
- Strong communication and guest-service skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Team player with a positive, energetic attitude
🍸 Bartender
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to brand standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Manage bar stock levels and assist with inventory counts
- Engage with guests to create a lively, welcoming bar atmosphere
- Follow responsible beverage service and hygiene procedures
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and beverage preparation
- Excellent guest interaction and multitasking skills
- Valid food and beverage/alcohol service certification (where applicable)
- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
👨🍳 General Cook
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items following standardized recipes and portioning guidelines
- Set up and maintain a clean, organized kitchen station
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet brand standards
- Monitor food storage and rotation to reduce waste and maintain freshness
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations during preparation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or commercial kitchen
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety standards, and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Food safety certification is an advantage
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
🧹 House Keeper

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant’s dining and back-of-house areas
- Restock and organize cleaning supplies and amenities as needed
- Follow daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning checklists
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Ensure restrooms and public areas meet brand cleanliness standards
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality or F&B preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning protocols
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties for extended periods
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
🍴 Steward
Duties & Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and cutlery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed
- Dispose of kitchen waste following hygiene and safety procedures
- Ensure kitchen equipment is stored properly and in good working condition
Requirements
- Previous stewarding or kitchen support experience preferred
- Understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding role
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to work flexible and rotational shifts
