Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our prestigious team at Mimi Mei Fair Dubai. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing guests with an exceptional dining experience. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcome and valued during their visit. You will work closely with other staff to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure that food and beverages are delivered to guests promptly and as requested
  • Provide recommendations to guests on menu items, specials, and wine pairings
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the menu and answer any questions about ingredients or preparation
  • Ensure that tables are set correctly and remain clean throughout the dining experience
  • Process payments and handle cash/credit card transactions accurately
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization within the dining area
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-end restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work well under pressure
  • A positive, energetic attitude and a passion for customer service
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food and beverage pairings, along with an understanding of Chinese cuisine is a plus
  • A professional appearance and demeanor
