Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, present menus and make recommendations on food and beverages.
  • Take orders accurately and serve dishes and drinks according to hotel standards.
  • Set up, reset and clean tables, service stations and dining areas.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve minor issues or pass them to a supervisor.
  • Follow hygiene, food safety and safe alcohol service procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a waiter or waitress in a hotel or restaurant preferred; enthusiastic newcomers may be considered
  • Good communication skills in English; other languages are an advantage
  • Friendly, presentable and guest-focused attitude
  • Ability to work on your feet during busy shifts
  • Team spirit and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays
