Waiter – The Espresso Lab, Dubai

The Espresso Lab, one of Dubai’s most awarded specialty coffee brands, is hiring a Waiter to join its front-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who takes real pride in hospitality and enjoys creating a warm, attentive experience for every guest who walks in. You’ll be the face of the café for many visitors, guiding them through the menu, taking orders accurately, and ensuring smooth, well-paced service even during the busiest hours. The ideal candidate is aged 20–29, presentable, detail-oriented, and able to stay calm and professional while multitasking under pressure. Previous restaurant or café experience is an advantage, but a genuine passion for guest service and a willingness to learn matter just as much. This is a strong opportunity to grow within a fast-expanding, design-led hospitality brand that has represented the UAE on the world stage of specialty coffee. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet, seat, and guide guests through the menu with friendly, attentive service
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar
  • Serve orders efficiently while maintaining table presentation and pacing
  • Handle guest requests, feedback, and minor issues professionally and calmly
  • Reset and prepare tables for the next guests, keeping the dining area clean and organized

Requirements

  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Age: 20–29 years old
  • Presentable with a professional attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and handle pressure
  • Detail-oriented
  • Immediate joiners are highly preferred

About The Espresso Lab

The Espresso Lab is a Dubai-born specialty coffee company founded by Emirati entrepreneur Ibrahim Al Mallouhi. What began as a single café in Dubai Design District has grown into a full specialty coffee ecosystem spanning cafés across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, a dedicated roastery, and even a coffee farm at origin in Panama. The brand has represented the UAE internationally, winning the UAE National Barista Championship four times, the UAE National Brewers Cup five times, and the UAE National Roasting Championship in 2026.
