Waiter – Common Grounds, Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi

Common Grounds, the specialty coffee and healthy-eats brand from the EATX family, is opening its first Abu Dhabi location at Yas Mall, and we’re looking for enthusiastic Waiters to join our founding front-of-house team. Known across Dubai for its fresh menu and warm, community-driven cafes, Common Grounds is all about creating lasting experiences for every guest who walks through the door. As a Waiter, you’ll greet and serve guests, guide them through our menu, and help deliver the friendly, attentive service Common Grounds is known for. This is a great opportunity for a service-driven hospitality professional to be part of a brand-new opening and grow with an expanding regional brand.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests, providing a warm and welcoming first impression.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining Common Grounds’ service standards.
  • Handle guest questions, requests, and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and assist with table turnover.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a cafe or restaurant environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, guest-first attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed during busy service periods.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
