Engineering Supervisor – Holiday Inn Dubai Al Maktoum | Hotel Engineering Jobs in Dubai
Holiday Inn Dubai Al Maktoum, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is hiring an Engineering Supervisor to lead its Engineering team in Dubai. In this role, you’ll oversee daily maintenance operations across the hotel’s facilities and equipment, supervise the technician team, and ensure preventive maintenance programs run on schedule. You’ll play a key role in keeping the hotel safe, compliant, and running smoothly for both guests and colleagues, coordinating repairs, contractors, and safety protocols across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This position suits an experienced engineering professional who is comfortable leading a small team and managing priorities in a live hotel environment. Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations across hotel facilities and equipment
- Supervise and schedule the engineering/technician team
- Ensure preventive maintenance programs are carried out on time
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations
- Coordinate with external contractors and manage repair follow-ups
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of hotel engineering experience, with supervisory exposure
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems
- Good leadership and team coordination skills
- Familiarity with UAE health and safety codes preferred
