🔹 Job Summary:
Gloria Hotels is seeking a hands-on and dependable General Technician to join our Engineering Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across the hotel, ensuring all systems and facilities are operating smoothly and safely.

🛎️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

  • Conduct minor repair works including carpentry, painting, and plumbing.

  • Respond to maintenance requests from guests and other departments in a timely manner.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and system issues.

  • Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.

  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors when necessary.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance work area.

✅ Requirements:

  • Proven experience in general maintenance or as a multi-skilled technician, ideally within a hotel or commercial facility.

  • Strong knowledge in at least two of the following areas: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry.

  • Ability to read technical manuals and interpret diagrams or schematics.

  • Physically fit and capable of handling tools and equipment.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.

  • Flexible with shifts, including weekends and emergency on-call duties.

  • Technical diploma or trade certification is a plus.
