Barista – Rove Hotels, Dubai

Rove Hotels is hiring a Barista to join its Food & Beverage Service team in Dubai. You will be the person who starts guests’ days right, crafting great coffee, teas and cold drinks with a smile and plenty of personality. From the morning rush to quiet afternoon breaks, you will prepare consistent, well-presented beverages, recommend favourites and keep the coffee corner clean, stocked and inviting. Rove welcomes travellers from around the world, and your friendly service will help them feel at home in Dubai. You will look after your equipment, follow hygiene standards and work closely with the wider F&B team. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare espresso-based drinks, teas and cold beverages with consistent quality.
  • Greet guests with a friendly smile and recommend popular drinks and snacks.
  • Operate and clean coffee machines, grinders and equipment daily.
  • Monitor stock of coffee, milk, syrups and pastries and report shortages.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and presentation standards at all times.
  • Process orders and payments accurately and keep the coffee area tidy.

Requirements

  • Previous barista experience in a café or hotel preferred.
  • Knowledge of espresso preparation, milk texturing and latte art is an advantage.
  • Good English communication and a welcoming personality.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene.
  • Ability to work shifts, including early mornings, weekends and public holidays.
