Commis Chef — The Lounge by Limited, Nad Al Sheeba Mall, Dubai

About the Role The Lounge by Limited is hiring a Commis Chef to join its founding kitchen team ahead of its opening at Nad Al Sheeba Mall, Dubai. Working under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and senior chefs, you will support daily food preparation and cooking tasks while learning the standards and techniques behind The Lounge’s curated menu. This role suits a motivated junior chef eager to grow within a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen and gain hands-on experience as part of a brand-new hospitality concept from AP&Co. Hospitality, known for its focus on design, quality, and guest experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist Chefs de Partie with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
  • Follow standardized recipes and plating instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen station.
  • Support with stock rotation and ingredient prep.
  • Learn and apply kitchen hygiene and food safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Prior kitchen experience or culinary training preferred.
  • Basic knife skills and food handling knowledge.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Food safety certificate is an advantage.
