Bartenders

We are seeking an experienced, energetic Bartender to join the pre‑opening team at Irish Vickers Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan Dubai. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the beverage program and guest experience from day one at a lively Irish bar and restaurant inside a premium hotel. You will work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment where creativity, consistency, and excellent guest engagement matter. Preference will be given to candidates who are locally available and can start immediately. If you take pride in craft cocktails, efficient service, and creating memorable moments for guests, we want to hear from you.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non‑alcoholic drinks to a high standard.
• Mix and present cocktails following standard recipes and contribute ideas for signature drinks and seasonal menus.
• Operate the bar POS accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and reconcile takings at shift end.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization; restock glassware, garnishes, and supplies; follow opening and closing checklists.
• Check IDs and practice responsible service of alcohol at all times.
• Engage with guests proactively, offer recommendations, upsell where appropriate, and manage guest queries with professionalism.
• Support events and pre‑opening tasks including menu tastings, staff training, and mock service runs.
• Collaborate with kitchen and FOH teams to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.

Requirements

• Proven bartending experience in a busy bar, pub, or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Good cash handling and POS experience.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift trays or boxes as needed.
• Relevant certifications (food handling, alcohol service) are an advantage.
• Locally available candidates who can join immediately will be prioritized.
