As a Demi CDP (Pastry), you will support the Pastry Chef and Chef de Partie in producing high‑quality pastries, baked goods, and desserts that reflect our brand’s standards and culinary identity.

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked items
  • Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and presentation standards set by the Pastry Chef
  • Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and appearance across all pastry items
  • Support the Chef de Partie in daily mise en place, production planning, and service execution
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients and finished products
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section at all times
  • Assist in developing new pastry items and seasonal specials when required
  • Operate pastry equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP compliance)
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders
  • Report any equipment issues, shortages, or quality concerns to the Pastry Chef

📌 Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Commis or Demi Chef de Partie in a pastry or bakery environment
  • Strong foundation in pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert preparation
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced kitchen
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Passion for pastry arts and a desire to grow within the culinary field
