We’re Hiring! – Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) – 2 Positions

Jamie’s Italian is looking for two talented and motivated Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to join our culinary team across our UAE locations. This role is ideal for chefs who are passionate about food preparation, eager to grow their skills, and ready to support the kitchen in delivering high‑quality dishes inspired by Jamie Oliver’s rustic Italian cuisine. As a DCDP, you will assist the CDP and Sous Chef in managing your section with consistency, efficiency, and pride.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the CDP in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes according to Jamie’s Italian standards
• Handle mise en place, chopping, portioning, and station preparation
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
• Ensure your section is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
• Support junior staff and kitchen helpers when needed
• Follow food‑safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines
• Assist with stock rotation, labeling, and proper storage of ingredients
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and efficient kitchen environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a DCDP or Commis I in a high‑volume or casual dining restaurant
• Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and speed
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of food‑safety and hygiene standards
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Immediate joiners preferred
