Commis Chef – New Fashion Café, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai

AP&Co. Hospitality is hiring a Commis Chef to join the launch team of its new fashion café opening soon at Mall of the Emirates. This is the group’s first food-forward concept, curated around the ethos of a soon-to-be-revealed fashion brand and delivered with AP&Co.’s signature hospitality touch. As Commis Chef, you’ll support the kitchen team across preparation, cooking, and plating, gaining hands-on experience under experienced section chefs while helping deliver consistently excellent food from the very first day of service. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, hardworking culinary talent looking to grow their skills within a professional kitchen and be part of a brand-new opening in one of Dubai’s most prestigious retail destinations. Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist section chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating during service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation
• Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines consistently
• Support with receiving, storing, and rotating deliveries according to FIFO standards
• Learn and develop culinary techniques under the guidance of senior kitchen staff

Requirements

• 1–2 years’ kitchen experience, ideally within a restaurant, café, or hotel environment
• Basic culinary skills and willingness to learn new techniques
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
• Ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment
• Flexibility to work across different kitchen sections as needed
