Cleaners — Al Ain
PDL Coffee Co is hiring reliable, detail‑oriented Cleaners to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our Al Ain café. This role supports both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams to ensure hygiene standards and a positive guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily Cleaning — Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize dining areas, restrooms, service stations, and staff areas.
• Waste Management — Empty bins, sort and dispose of waste correctly, and manage recycling procedures.
• Surface and Equipment Care — Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, glass, and light fixtures; wipe down coffee equipment exteriors and service surfaces.
• Restroom Maintenance — Replenish supplies, deep clean fixtures, and ensure restrooms are hygienic and presentable at all times.
• Kitchen Support — Assist kitchen team with basic cleaning tasks, dishwashing, and maintaining tidy prep areas when required.
• Deep Cleaning Tasks — Perform scheduled deep cleans, including ovens, refrigerators, vents, and hard‑to‑reach areas.
• Health and Safety Compliance — Follow cleaning checklists, use cleaning chemicals safely, and adhere to food‑safety and hygiene protocols.
• Reporting — Report maintenance issues, breakages, or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Experience — Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not essential.
• Skills — Attention to detail, reliability, ability to follow instructions and cleaning procedures.
• Physical — Able to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Availability — Flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Language — Basic English proficiency; Arabic is an advantage.
• Attributes — Punctual, trustworthy, discreet, and team‑oriented.
• Legal — Right to work in the UAE and ability to commute to Al Ain.
• Certifications — Food safety or hygiene training is a plus.
