We are seeking talented, disciplined, and passionate Sushi Chefs who excel in precision, technique, and presentation. As a Sushi Chef at FYTE, you will be responsible for crafting high‑quality sushi, sashimi, and Japanese‑inspired dishes while maintaining the highest standards of freshness, hygiene, and consistency. This role is ideal for chefs who take pride in their craft, thrive in fast‑paced environments, and want to grow within a dynamic, innovative hospitality group known for excellence and creativity.

🔥 Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi, sashimi, maki, nigiri, and specialty rolls with precision and consistency
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled according to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station at all times
• Assist in menu development, seasonal specials, and new sushi creations
• Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and report shortages
• Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold FYTE’s quality standards in taste, presentation, and portioning
• Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines

✅ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a Japanese restaurant or premium dining environment
• Strong knife skills and mastery of sushi preparation techniques
• Excellent understanding of fish handling, storage, and cutting methods
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
• Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and professional appearance
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and ingredients is essential
