Jamie’s Italian is looking for an experienced and reliable Steward Supervisor to lead our stewarding team at our Dubai Mall location. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who understands the importance of cleanliness, organization, and back‑of‑house efficiency in a high‑volume restaurant environment. As a Steward Supervisor, you will ensure smooth stewarding operations, maintain hygiene standards, and support the kitchen team with consistency and leadership.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the stewarding team to ensure all cleaning and sanitation tasks are completed efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, dishwashing areas, and BOH spaces
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals; report shortages to management
• Implement and enforce hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards (HACCP compliance)
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods by ensuring timely availability of clean equipment
• Train new stewards on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and operational standards
• Conduct regular inspections of BOH areas to ensure compliance with brand and safety guidelines
• Assist with waste management, recycling procedures, and proper disposal practices

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Steward Supervisor or senior steward in a high‑volume restaurant or hotel
• Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and food‑safety standards
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a stewarding team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle pressure
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Immediate joiners preferred
