Senior Chef de Partie – McGettigan’s Abu Dhabi

McGettigan’s Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Chef de Partie to join our expanding culinary team. As a Senior CDP, you will take full responsibility for leading a kitchen section, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and timely service. This role requires a strong culinary foundation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to guide junior chefs while maintaining McGettigan’s renowned standards. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to execute menu items, manage mise en place, and uphold operational excellence. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage an assigned kitchen section during preparation and service.
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to McGettigan’s quality and presentation standards.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise Commis and Demi CDP team members.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP compliance at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior CDP in a high‑volume kitchen.
  • Strong technical skills and deep knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen operations.
  • Proven ability to lead a section and support junior staff.
  • Excellent communication, time‑management, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining consistency and quality.
