Pastry Chef de Partie – McGettigan’s Abu Dhabi

McGettigan’s Abu Dhabi is seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef de Partie to join our expanding culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high‑quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods that reflect McGettigan’s commitment to excellence. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to execute dessert menus, maintain consistency, and ensure every dish meets our brand standards. This position is ideal for pastry professionals who are passionate about flavor, presentation, and innovation. You will manage your own section, oversee production schedules, and contribute to new dessert ideas while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, bake, and present pastries, desserts, and baked items to McGettigan’s standards.
  • Manage the pastry section, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Assist in developing new dessert concepts and seasonal menu items.
  • Monitor ingredient quality, stock levels, and proper storage procedures.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or strong background in pastry production.
  • Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen.
  • Strong creativity, attention to detail, and passion for pastry arts.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication and organizational skills.
