GAIA London, one of the city’s most distinguished Mediterranean dining destinations, is seeking an experienced and service‑focused Head Waiter/Head Waitress to join our exceptional front‑of‑house team. In this leadership role, you will guide the service team, uphold our signature standards, and ensure every guest receives the refined, attentive, and personalised service that defines the GAIA brand. You will play a key part in daily operations, working closely with management, the kitchen, and the bar to deliver seamless service in a high‑end, fast‑paced environment.

💼 Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the front‑of‑house team during service.
  • Ensure smooth floor operations and consistent service excellence.
  • Welcome guests, manage seating, and oversee table service quality.
  • Provide coaching, support, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for timely and accurate service.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and service recovery.
  • Maintain dining room readiness, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
  • Support opening and closing procedures as required.

✅ Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in luxury or high‑volume dining environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
  • Professional appearance and a positive, guest‑focused attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
