The Head Waiter acts as the anchor between guests, the wider service team, and the kitchen, ensuring every table receives the seamless, personal attention Cipriani is known for. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a section of the dining room, ensuring seamless, elegant service throughout each shift
- Guide, train, and support waiters and runners, maintaining Cipriani’s exacting service standards
- Build rapport with regular and VIP guests, anticipating needs and personalizing their experience
- Oversee table settings, timing of courses, and overall flow of service in coordination with the kitchen
- Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly and gracefully
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Head Waiter or senior server in fine dining
- Strong leadership, communication, and guest-relations skills
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
- Solid knowledge of food, wine, and formal service etiquette
- Well-groomed, professional presentation
