Head Hostess – Metafoodies Group, Dubai

Metafoodies Group, the Dubai-based hospitality collective behind Bisou, ALBA Restaurant, ALBA Street, and Himitsu, is hiring a polished, confident Head Hostess to lead the guest welcome experience. As the first point of contact, you’ll set the tone for every visit — managing reservations, coordinating seating flow, and ensuring guests feel looked after from the moment they arrive. You’ll also guide and train junior hostesses, working closely with Floor Supervisors to keep service seamless across busy shifts. This role suits someone with genuine hospitality flair, strong organizational skills, and experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment who’s ready to take on more responsibility within a growing restaurant group.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and manage the reservation book and seating flow.
  • Coordinate with Floor Supervisors and servers to optimize table allocation.
  • Handle guest inquiries, waitlists, and special requests with poise.
  • Maintain the front-of-house entrance and waiting area presentation standards.
  • Train and guide junior hostesses on floor plans and reservation systems.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a hostess or in guest relations, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with reservation platforms (e.g. SevenRooms, OpenTable) is an advantage.
  • Calm, composed manner when managing high guest volumes or walk-ins.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are a strong plus.
