Warwick Doha is seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef de Partie (Pastry) to join our dedicated pastry team. This role is ideal for a creative culinary professional who has a strong foundation in pastry preparation and is eager to refine their skills in a dynamic, high‑standard kitchen environment. As a Demi CDP, you will support the Pastry Chef in producing beautifully crafted desserts, pastries, and baked items that reflect the quality and elegance of the Warwick brand. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and presenting pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods
  • Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards set by the Pastry Chef
  • Ensure all pastry items meet quality, taste, and visual standards
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the pastry section
  • Properly store and rotate ingredients to ensure freshness and minimize waste
  • Support the Pastry Chef and Chef de Partie during service and special events
  • Assist in creating new dessert concepts and menu items when required
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and HACCP standards
  • Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pastry within a hotel or high‑quality restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation
  • Creativity and attention to detail in producing visually appealing items
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Culinary or pastry certification is an advantage
