Commis Chef – Noren Restaurant Dubai (Pre‑Opening)

Noren Restaurant is gearing up for its grand opening in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, and we are building a kitchen team that embodies craftsmanship, discipline, and passion. We are looking for dedicated Commis Chefs who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a high‑performance culinary environment.

As part of our pre‑opening team, you will play a key role in supporting daily kitchen operations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth service. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring chefs who want to develop their skills under strong leadership and be part of a concept from day one.

🔥 Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in daily food preparation, mise en place, and basic cooking tasks.
• Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and presentation standards accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations at all times.
• Support senior chefs during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients to maintain freshness.
• Adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when required.
• Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented kitchen culture.

✅ Requirements

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or kitchen assistant (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion, discipline, and commitment to continuous improvement.
