Jamie’s Italian – Reem Mall, Abu Dhabi & Dubai Mall, Dubai

Jamie’s Italian is looking for five hardworking and passionate Commis Chefs to join our culinary team across our UAE locations. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast‑paced kitchen inspired by Jamie Oliver’s rustic Italian cooking. As a Commis Chef, you will support senior chefs in daily preparation, maintain high standards of hygiene, and help deliver consistent, high‑quality dishes to our guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in basic food preparation, chopping, portioning, and mise en place
• Support CDPs and DCDPs during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station at all times
• Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and Jamie’s Italian standards
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
• Uphold hygiene, sanitation, and food‑safety procedures
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain efficiency and consistency

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or kitchen assistant is an advantage
• Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Immediate joiners preferred
