Cashier – The Espresso Lab, Dubai
The Espresso Lab, one of Dubai’s most awarded specialty coffee brands, is hiring a Cashier to join its front-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and comfortable being one of the first and last points of contact for every guest. You’ll manage POS transactions, keep billing accurate even during peak hours, and coordinate closely with baristas and waiters to keep service running smoothly. The ideal candidate is aged 20–29, presentable, numerically accurate, and able to stay calm and organized under pressure. Previous cashier or POS experience in a café, restaurant, or retail setting is an advantage, but strong attention to detail and a genuine customer-service mindset matter just as much. This is a great opportunity to grow within a fast-expanding, design-led hospitality brand that has represented the UAE on the world stage of specialty coffee. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Process guest payments accurately via POS, including cash, card, and digital methods
- Issue receipts, handle refunds, and reconcile the till at the start and end of shifts
- Support front-of-house flow during peak hours by coordinating with baristas and waiters
- Respond to billing questions and resolve discrepancies quickly and courteously
- Maintain accurate daily sales records and report any irregularities to the supervisor
Requirements

- Age: 20–29 years old
- Presentable with a professional attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and handle pressure
- Detail-oriented
