Barback Jobs in Dubai – AURA Skypool, Palm Jumeirah
AURA Skypool is hiring Barbacks to support its bar team at Dubai’s world-famous rooftop infinity pool on the 50th floor of The Palm Tower. Behind every smooth, fast bar service is a barback who keeps everything stocked, clean and ready — and at AURA, that role is central to the guest experience.
You will keep liquor, garnishes, ice, glassware and supplies replenished throughout service, maintain cleanliness of the bar area, and assist bartenders with prep and basic drink assembly. You will also help with deliveries, stock rotation and closing duties. The role suits someone physically fit, quick on their feet and eager to learn the craft — many of AURA’s bartenders started as barbacks. Previous bar or F&B experience is preferred, but attitude and work ethic matter most.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Restock liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware and bar supplies throughout service
- Keep ice wells, speed rails and service stations fully stocked and organised
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar, fridges, equipment and surrounding areas
- Assist bartenders with beverage prep, garnish preparation and basic drink assembly
- Support with deliveries, stock rotation, storage and inventory counts
- Communicate low stock levels and equipment issues to the bar team promptly
- Complete opening, closing and deep-cleaning duties to required standards
Requirements
- Previous barback, bar or F&B experience preferred
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry and work at pace for long shifts
- Basic knowledge of bar tools, glassware, spirits and beverage handling
- Strong teamwork, communication and sense of urgency
- Good understanding of hygiene and food-safety practices
- Eagerness to learn mixology and progress into a bartender role
- Flexibility to work late nights, weekends and public holidays
