Duties and Responsibilities

Hostess

  • Greet arriving guests, manage the reception desk and create a warm first impression of the venue.
  • Handle reservations by phone, WhatsApp and booking platforms, and maintain an accurate table plan.
  • Seat guests according to section rotation, party size and server availability.
  • Manage waiting lists during peak hours and keep guests informed of realistic wait times.
  • Coordinate with floor and management on VIP bookings, special occasions and guest preferences.

Waiter / Waitress

  • Take food, beverage and shisha orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
  • Present the menu confidently, explain dishes and recommend pairings or upsells.
  • Serve courses in correct sequence and maintain table standards throughout the guest’s visit.
  • Monitor assigned sections, anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
  • Process bills, handle payments accurately and complete opening, side and closing duties.

Runner

  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to the correct tables promptly.
  • Check plate presentation, temperature and order accuracy before leaving the pass.
  • Clear, reset and polish tables between guests to keep turnover smooth.
  • Restock service stations with cutlery, glassware, napkins and condiments.
  • Support waiters and kitchen staff during busy service and assist with closing cleaning.

Bartender / Barista

  • Prepare cocktails, mocktails, specialty coffee and other beverages to brand recipes and standards.
  • Maintain bar cleanliness, organisation and full compliance with Dubai Municipality hygiene rules.
  • Manage bar stock, monitor par levels, rotate inventory and report shortages or wastage.
  • Engage with guests at the bar, take orders and recommend drinks from the menu.
  • Set up and break down the bar station and complete daily stock counts accurately.

Sous Chef

  • Run the kitchen line during service and supervise cooks and kitchen assistants.
  • Ensure consistency of recipes, portioning, plating and presentation on every dish.
  • Manage daily mise en place, ordering, stock rotation and food cost control.
  • Enforce HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards and complete required logs.
  • Deputise for the Head Chef, assist with menu development, training and staff scheduling.

Cook

  • Prepare and cook menu items to recipe specification at the assigned station.
  • Complete daily mise en place and ensure the station is ready before service begins.
  • Maintain speed, quality and consistency during high-volume service periods.
  • Store, label and rotate ingredients correctly and minimise food wastage.
  • Keep the station, equipment and walk-ins clean and compliant with hygiene standards.

Requirements

Hostess

  • Previous hostess or reception experience in a restaurant, lounge or hotel.
  • Good conversational English; Arabic or Russian is an advantage.
  • Presentable, well-groomed and confident in guest-facing situations.
  • Familiarity with reservation systems such as SevenRooms, OpenTable or similar.
  • Currently based in Dubai; own valid UAE visa preferred.

Waiter / Waitress

  • Minimum 1–2 years as a waiter in a restaurant, lounge or café.
  • Good conversational English and strong menu knowledge.
  • Confident with POS systems, order taking and billing.
  • Able to work long shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Currently based in Dubai; own valid UAE visa preferred.

Runner

  • Previous food runner or busser experience in a busy venue.
  • Basic conversational English and good listening skills.
  • Physically fit and able to carry trays and stand for long periods.
  • Fast, attentive and comfortable working under pressure.
  • Currently based in Dubai; own valid UAE visa preferred.

Bartender / Barista

  • Minimum 2 years as a bartender or barista in a lounge, bar or specialty coffee venue.
  • Solid knowledge of classic cocktails and/or espresso-based drinks and latte art.
  • Good conversational English and strong guest-engagement skills.
  • Awareness of hygiene, stock control and responsible service practices.
  • Currently based in Dubai; own valid UAE visa preferred.

Sous Chef

  • Minimum 3–4 years kitchen experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead a section or full line during high-volume service.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, food costing and inventory management.
  • Good conversational English and ability to train and motivate a team.
  • Currently based in Dubai; own valid UAE visa preferred. Food safety certification is an advantage.

Cook

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a commis or line cook in a restaurant or lounge.
  • Competence in at least one station: hot, cold, grill or pastry.
  • Understanding of food hygiene, storage and safety standards.
  • Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Currently based in Dubai; own valid UAE visa preferred.
