La Brioche Café et Pâtisserie is hiring Waiters and Waitresses for its Dubai opening and other UAE branches. This customer‑facing role delivers friendly, efficient service in a fast‑paced café and patisserie environment, ensuring guests enjoy a warm welcome, accurate orders, and timely table service. Ideal candidates are personable, reliable, and experienced in F&B service; they follow standard operating procedures, support the FOH team during peak periods, and contribute to a positive guest experience. Local candidates eligible to work in the UAE are preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Guest Reception and Service
  • Greet and seat guests with a friendly, professional manner.
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and make recommendations when appropriate.
• Order Taking and Delivery
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS; relay special requests and allergy information to the kitchen.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and portioning.
• Table Maintenance and Turnover
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain service flow and cleanliness.
  • Monitor table status and coordinate with colleagues to manage covers and waiting lists.
• Cash Handling and POS Operations
  • Process bills, accept payments, and perform basic cash reconciliation at shift end when required.
  • Maintain accurate order checks and communicate any discrepancies.
• Customer Care and Recovery
  • Respond to guest enquiries and resolve minor complaints courteously; escalate complex issues to the Head Waiter or Manager.
  • Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction before they leave.
• Hygiene and Safety
  • Adhere to HACCP and FOH hygiene standards; follow allergen and cross‑contamination procedures.
  • Keep service stations stocked, clean, and organised.
• Teamwork and Communication
  • Attend briefings, support colleagues during busy periods, and assist with side work and closing duties.
  • Share feedback from guests with supervisors to help improve service and menu offerings.

Requirements

• Experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in waiter/waitress or similar F&B role preferred.
• Skills
  • Strong customer service skills, clear communication, and basic POS proficiency.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain composure during busy shifts.
• Personal Attributes
  • Pleasant, professional demeanour; punctual and reliable.
  • Team player with a positive, can‑do attitude and attention to detail.
• Operational
  • Comfortable with flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.
  • Eligible to work in the UAE; fluent English required, additional languages an advantage.
