Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
• Supervise and support kitchen staff during preparation and service
• Ensure all dishes meet Villa Mamas’ quality, presentation, and flavor standards
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating with precision
• Maintain inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering
• Uphold hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations at all times
• Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen team members
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
• Ensure smooth communication between kitchen and front‑of‑house teams

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
• Strong culinary skills with a passion for high‑quality, heritage‑inspired cuisine
• Leadership abilities and experience managing a kitchen team
• Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Culinary certification or formal training is an advantage
