We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our Pasta Bar culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Italian cuisine, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain high kitchen standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure food quality and consistency.
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and kitchen management.
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to deliver exceptional culinary results.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations.
- Manage inventory and control food costs effectively.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and improve menu offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in Italian cuisine.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Passion for pasta-making and authentic Italian flavors.
