Duties and Responsibilities

1. Waiter / Waitress

  • Greet and seat guests warmly, present menus and take food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Serve food and drinks following the hotel’s service standards and brand guidelines.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients and allergens, and recommend dishes to guests.
  • Set up, maintain and close the service station while keeping the outlet clean and organised.
  • Handle guest requests, feedback and billing through the POS system with professionalism.

2. Receptionist

  • Welcome guests and manage smooth check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Handle reservations, room assignments and guest enquiries in person, by phone and by email.
  • Record guest details and process payments accurately in the property management system.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering and other departments to fulfil guest requests.
  • Resolve complaints promptly and promote hotel services, facilities and offers.

3. Front Office Supervisor

  • Supervise the front desk team and prepare daily duty rosters.
  • Oversee arrivals, departures and VIP handling to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Handle guest escalations and service recovery with confidence.
  • Train, coach and evaluate Receptionists and Telephone Operators.
  • Check cash handling, reports and audits to ensure compliance with Hilton standards.

4. Telephone Operator

  • Answer incoming calls promptly and route them to the right department or guest room.
  • Take accurate messages and manage wake-up calls and guest requests.
  • Provide information about hotel services, facilities and local attractions.
  • Follow emergency call procedures and communicate alerts correctly.
  • Keep call logs up to date and coordinate with other departments.

5. Engineering Supervisor

  • Supervise engineering technicians and assign daily work orders.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
  • Respond quickly to guest-room and public-area maintenance issues.
  • Ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance across all technical work.
  • Manage spare parts, tools and external contractors while controlling costs.

6. Kitchen Technician

  • Maintain, inspect and repair kitchen equipment such as ovens, chillers, dishwashers and cooking lines.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance according to the engineering schedule.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise kitchen downtime.
  • Follow safety and food-hygiene standards (HACCP) when working in kitchen areas.
  • Record repairs and coordinate with the Engineering team and kitchen leaders.

7. Sous Chef

  • Support the Executive Chef in running daily kitchen operations.
  • Supervise food preparation, cooking and presentation to maintain consistent quality.
  • Control food cost, ordering, stock rotation and waste.
  • Enforce HACCP, hygiene and safety standards in every section.
  • Train, schedule and motivate the kitchen brigade.

8. Chef de Partie

  • Run an assigned kitchen station and complete mise en place before service.
  • Prepare and present dishes to the hotel’s recipe and quality standards.
  • Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants in the section.
  • Follow hygiene, storage and labelling procedures at all times.
  • Reduce waste and report stock needs to the Sous Chef.

9. Housekeeping Supervisor

  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to confirm cleanliness and brand standards.
  • Assign tasks to Room Attendants and monitor productivity.
  • Train team members on cleaning procedures, safety and guest service.
  • Manage linen, cleaning supplies, lost and found and equipment.
  • Liaise with Front Office and Engineering to keep rooms ready on time.

Requirements

1. Waiter / Waitress

  • Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant is preferred.
  • Good spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Presentable, friendly and customer-focused.
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge.

2. Receptionist

  • Diploma or certificate in Hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of front desk experience in a hotel.
  • Knowledge of a property management system (such as Opera) is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication and computer skills.
  • Pleasant personality and a service-first attitude.

3. Front Office Supervisor

  • 2–3 years of front office experience, including some supervisory exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of PMS and front desk procedures.
  • Leadership, coaching and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English communication.
  • Understanding of international hotel brand standards.

4. Telephone Operator

  • Clear, polite telephone voice with good English.
  • Previous switchboard or call-handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Discretion and strong attention to detail.

5. Engineering Supervisor

  • Technical diploma or trade certificate in Electrical, Mechanical or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hotel or facility maintenance experience, including supervisory duties.
  • Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems.
  • UAE experience is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices.

6. Kitchen Technician

  • Technical certificate or equivalent in a relevant trade.
  • Experience maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Good troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Awareness of kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
  • Flexibility to respond to urgent breakdowns.

7. Sous Chef

  • Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • 3–5 years of experience as Sous Chef or senior Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and menu knowledge.
  • Valid HACCP or food safety certification.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays.

8. Chef de Partie

  • Culinary qualification or relevant training.
  • 2–3 years of experience as Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant.
  • Ability to work quickly and consistently in a busy kitchen.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and kitchen hygiene.
  • Team-player attitude.

9. Housekeeping Supervisor

  • 2+ years of housekeeping experience, including supervisory experience in a hotel.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Good English communication and leadership skills.
  • Hospitality diploma is an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.
