S.J. Abed General Enterprises Ltd is seeking a skilled and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our catering team and support daily food production activities. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing fresh, high‑quality sandwiches and snacks while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, fast‑paced, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assembling sandwiches according to menu specifications, and ensuring consistent quality in every order. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble sandwiches, wraps, and related food items according to recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and available for daily production.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the preparation area at all times.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines strictly.
  • Assist in portioning, slicing, and preparing ingredients as required.
  • Monitor stock levels of sandwich ingredients and report shortages.
  • Ensure timely preparation of orders during peak service hours.
  • Support the catering team with additional kitchen tasks when needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sandwich Maker, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends or extended hours if required.
