In this role, you’ll help prepare and plate dishes that reflect Rove’s fresh, fuss-free approach to hospitality, working alongside a dedicated brigade in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. From maintaining a clean and organized workstation to supporting stock control and following strict food safety standards, you’ll play a key part in delivering consistent quality with every plate. Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to Rove’s recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workstation at all times
- Monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and assist with inventory and ordering
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines consistently
- Support senior chefs during busy service periods and contribute ideas to menu development
Requirements
- Culinary training or relevant kitchen experience (commis to chef de partie level, depending on role)
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- A team-first attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
