Duties & Responsibilities

Front Office

  • Welcome and check guests in and out efficiently, courteously, and in line with Rove service standards
  • Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints promptly, escalating where necessary
  • Manage room allocations, billing, payments, and reservation updates accurately
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals and stays
  • Promote hotel facilities, local experiences, and upselling opportunities to enhance the guest journey

Food & Beverage Service

  • Deliver friendly, attentive, and efficient service across restaurants, bars, and event spaces
  • Take orders accurately and guide guests through menus, specials, and recommendations
  • Set up, maintain, and break down dining areas in line with hygiene and presentation standards
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and support colleagues during peak service periods

Kitchen

  • Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to Rove’s recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workstation at all times
  • Monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and assist with inventory and ordering
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines consistently
  • Support senior chefs during busy service periods and contribute ideas to menu development

Requirements

Front Office

  • Previous experience in a front office, reception, or guest service role, preferably in hospitality
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with property management systems
  • A warm, guest-focused personality with problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

Food & Beverage Service

  • Prior experience as a waiter, waitress, or F&B service team member
  • Good command of English and strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic food and beverage knowledge, including allergens and menu items
  • A positive, energetic attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • Flexibility to work rotational shifts across restaurants, bars, and events

Kitchen

  • Culinary training or relevant kitchen experience (commis to chef de partie level, depending on role)
  • Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • A team-first attitude and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
