Income auditor

Taj Jumeira Lakes Tower Dubai is hiring an Income Auditor to verify daily revenue, reconcile outlets (rooms, F&B, banquets), and produce accurate financial reports; this is a frontline finance role based in Dubai with immediate start preferred.

Position Overview

Job Title: Income Auditor
Location: Taj Jumeira Lakes Tower, Dubai
Employment Type: Full time; finance/audit role reporting to Finance Manager.

Primary objective: ensure integrity of daily revenue, reconcile postings across systems, and support month‑end close processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily revenue audit: Review and verify daily revenue postings for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, Spa, and other outlets; reconcile POS, PMS and cash reports.
• Reconciliations: Balance daily takings to bank deposits, credit card batches, and cash floats; investigate and resolve variances promptly.
• Reporting: Prepare and circulate daily income audit reports, variance analyses, and exception logs to Finance and Outlet Managers.
• Adjustments & controls: Post authorized adjustments, maintain audit trails, and ensure proper authorization for voids, discounts, and comp items.
• Coordination: Liaise with Front Office, F&B, Banqueting, Cashiers, and Revenue teams to validate rates, group postings, and billing accuracy.
• Month‑end support: Assist with month‑end revenue schedules, accruals, and audit queries; support external/internal audits as required.
• Compliance & SOPs: Maintain and improve income audit SOPs, ensure adherence to company policies and local regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years in hotel income auditing or revenue accounting at a 4‑ or 5‑star property (or equivalent multi‑outlet operation).
• Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Accounting preferred. Professional accounting coursework is an advantage.
• Technical skills: Proficient with PMS (e.g., Opera), POS systems, Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and basic accounting software.
• Core competencies: Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, investigative mindset, and ability to work under daily deadlines.
• Languages & availability: Fluent English required; Arabic is an advantage. Flexible to work early morning or rotating shifts to cover daily audit windows.
