As we prepare to launch Dubai’s newest social gaming and lifestyle destination, Housekeeping staff will play a vital role in creating the clean, safe, and welcoming environment our guests expect. Role Overview

As a Housekeeping team member you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across public areas, restrooms, back‑of‑house spaces, and event zones. During pre‑opening you will help establish cleaning protocols, support deep‑clean and setup activities, and ensure Kapitol’s guest areas are pristine for soft openings and VIP events. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to facility upkeep.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, gaming zones, dining areas, and staff facilities.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and glass cleaning to Kapitol standards.
• Sanitize high‑touch surfaces regularly and follow enhanced hygiene protocols during events and peak periods.
• Manage restroom upkeep: replenish consumables, clean fixtures, and ensure a hygienic presentation at all times.
• Support event turnover by preparing and resetting spaces quickly and efficiently between sessions or private functions.
• Assist with deep‑clean and pre‑opening setup including upholstery cleaning, floor treatments, and detailed area preparation.
• Report maintenance issues such as lighting, plumbing, or furniture faults to supervisors and follow up until resolved.
• Handle cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly; maintain inventory, request replenishments, and ensure safe storage.
• Follow health, safety, and chemical handling procedures including correct dilution and use of cleaning agents.
• Support waste management and recycling initiatives to maintain a safe, sustainable environment.
• Collaborate with operations and events teams to meet rapid turnaround requirements and special cleaning requests.
• Adhere to Kapitol’s presentation standards and contribute to a welcoming guest experience through consistent attention to detail.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or facilities experience in hospitality, events, or large public venues preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently high standards of cleanliness.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, lift moderate weights, and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures; certification is an advantage.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Team player mentality with a proactive, can‑do attitude during busy service periods.
• Basic English proficiency for reporting and coordination; additional languages are a plus.
• Valid UAE work authorization or clear visa status; include visa details in your application.
