Head Chef – Dubai & Middle East Branches

We are seeking highly skilled, creative, and leadership‑driven Head Chefs to oversee kitchen operations across our Dubai and Middle East branches. This role is ideal for culinary professionals with a passion for innovation, a deep understanding of kitchen management, and the ability to lead diverse teams in delivering exceptional food quality. The Head Chef will be responsible for menu development, operational excellence, cost control, and maintaining the highest culinary standards across all service periods.


Duties & Responsibilities

Culinary Leadership

  • Lead all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent delivery of high‑quality dishes.
  • Develop, refine, and update menus in line with brand identity and seasonal trends.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Conduct regular tastings, training sessions, and quality checks.

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff at all levels.
  • Create a positive, disciplined, and collaborative kitchen culture.
  • Manage staff schedules, performance evaluations, and development plans.
  • Ensure smooth communication between BOH and FOH teams.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily prep, production, and service to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Implement and enforce kitchen SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines.

Financial & Inventory Management

  • Manage food cost, labor cost, and kitchen budgets effectively.
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction.
  • Analyze sales trends and adjust production levels accordingly.
  • Support menu engineering and cost‑optimization initiatives.

Innovation & Brand Development

  • Introduce new dishes, seasonal specials, and creative culinary concepts.
  • Collaborate with management on brand direction, menu strategy, and promotions.
  • Stay updated on global culinary trends and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a senior culinary role, including at least 2 years as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.
  • Proven experience in high‑volume or premium dining environments.
  • Expertise in menu development, costing, and kitchen operations.
  • Deep understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain consistency during peak service.
  • Middle East experience preferred; Dubai experience is a strong advantage.
  • Culinary degree or professional certification is an asset.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
