Duties and Responsibilities
Front Desk Agent
- Greet guests warmly and complete check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately.
- Handle guest requests, questions and feedback with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
- Process payments, deposits and room charges in line with hotel procedures.
- Share information about the hotel, services and Dubai attractions to enhance the stay.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering and F&B teams to keep guest service seamless.
Bellman
- Welcome guests at arrival and assist with luggage handling to and from rooms.
- Escort guests to their rooms and introduce room features and hotel facilities.
- Support guests with taxi bookings, directions and general information.
- Keep the lobby and entrance area tidy, safe and presentable.
- Follow luggage storage and security procedures at all times.
Reservations Agent
- Handle room booking enquiries by phone, email and online channels.
- Create, modify and cancel reservations accurately in the property management system.
- Offer suitable room types, rates and upselling options to guests.
- Confirm special requests and share them with Front Office and relevant teams.
- Monitor availability and follow up on pending bookings and payments.
Waiter / Waitress
- Welcome guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders with confidence.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly in line with service standards.
- Recommend dishes and drinks, and answer questions about ingredients and allergens.
- Keep the dining area clean, organised and fully set up throughout service.
- Process bills and payments accurately and handle guest feedback politely.
Bartender
- Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines and other beverages to recipe standards.
- Create a lively, welcoming bar atmosphere and engage with guests.
- Check IDs and serve alcohol responsibly in line with UAE regulations and company policy.
- Maintain bar stock, par levels, cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Handle cash, card payments and end-of-shift reconciliation accurately.
Barista
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, teas and cold beverages with consistent quality.
- Greet guests with a friendly smile and recommend popular drinks and snacks.
- Operate and clean coffee machines, grinders and equipment daily.
- Monitor stock of coffee, milk, syrups and pastries, and report shortages.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and presentation standards at all times.
Commis Chef
- Assist section chefs with daily food preparation and mise en place.
- Cook and present dishes according to recipes and portion standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workstation throughout service.
- Follow HACCP and food hygiene procedures, including correct storage and labelling.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods and learn new skills on the job.
Chef de Partie
- Run an assigned kitchen section and deliver consistent, high-quality dishes.
- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe, taste and presentation standards.
- Supervise and train commis chefs and kitchen helpers in the section.
- Monitor stock, minimise waste and place orders for the section.
- Ensure all HACCP, hygiene and safety standards are followed.
Kitchen Steward
- Wash and sanitise pots, pans, crockery, glassware and cutlery to hotel standards.
- Keep kitchen floors, equipment and storage areas clean and tidy.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and machines safely and correctly.
- Dispose of waste and recycling according to hygiene and environmental procedures.
- Support chefs by moving supplies and assisting with basic kitchen tasks.
Requirements
Front Desk Agent
- Previous hotel front office or guest service experience preferred.
- Good spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Working knowledge of a hotel property management system (such as Opera) is a plus.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Bellman
- Previous experience as a bellman, porter or in a guest-facing role is preferred.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle luggage safely.
- Neat appearance and a warm, helpful manner.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
Reservations Agent
- Experience in hotel reservations or a call-centre/customer service role preferred.
- Strong English communication skills; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
- Good computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and communicate clearly by phone and email.
- Sales mindset and ability to work shifts.
Waiter / Waitress
- Previous restaurant, café or hotel service experience preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
- Positive attitude, energy and a genuine love of guest service.
- Neat, professional appearance and strong teamwork.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
Bartender
- Proven experience as a bartender in a hotel, bar or restaurant.
- Knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, spirits and beverage service.
- Good English communication and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Valid certifications for responsible alcohol service, where applicable, are an advantage.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Barista
- Previous barista experience in a café or hotel preferred.
- Knowledge of espresso preparation, milk texturing and latte art is an advantage.
- Good English communication and a welcoming personality.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene.
- Ability to work shifts, including early mornings.
Commis Chef
- Culinary diploma or relevant kitchen experience preferred; motivated beginners are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods and kitchen hygiene.
- Valid food handler certificate is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
Chef de Partie
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel or busy restaurant.
- Strong skills in the assigned section and knowledge of HACCP.
- Ability to lead, train and motivate junior kitchen team members.
- Culinary qualification and valid food handler certificate preferred.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work flexible shifts.
Kitchen Steward
- Previous stewarding or kitchen cleaning experience preferred; training is provided.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Reliable, hard-working and team-oriented.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
