Fitness Instructor – The Mangroves Abu Dhabi, LXR Hotels & Resorts | Abu Dhabi Jobs

The Fitness Instructor helps guests enjoy a safe, motivating and enjoyable workout during their stay. In the lead-up to opening you will help prepare the fitness areas, plan classes and develop the programmes that suit a luxury resort set beside the mangroves. You will guide guests in the gym, lead sessions, support wellbeing and make sure equipment is clean, safe and ready, so a positive, energetic personality will thrive in this role. As part of the pre-opening recreation and spa team at The Mangroves Abu Dhabi, LXR Hotels & Resorts, the Fitness Instructor will help create a calm, restorative experience for guests. The hotel is hosting an invitation-only Recruitment Day, and shortlisted candidates will be contacted with an invitation to attend. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests to the fitness area and explain equipment and safety procedures.
  • Lead or support group classes and personal sessions where required.
  • Monitor the gym floor, assist guests and respond to emergencies as trained.
  • Check, clean and report on equipment to keep the area safe and presentable.
  • Promote recreation and wellness activities and share feedback with the team.

Requirements

  • Recognised fitness instructor or personal trainer qualification.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel, resort or fitness club is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills in English; additional languages are welcome.
  • Energetic, professional and flexible with shifts and weekends.
