🛠️ Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting delicatessen products and provide helpful recommendations

  • Handle slicing, packaging, and portioning of deli items
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the team for timely replenishment
  • Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times
  • Support promotional activities and in‑store product sampling
  • Handle customer inquiries, returns, and complaints professionally
  • Achieve daily sales targets and contribute to overall department performance

  • 1–3 years of experience in a delicatessen or fresh food department
  • Knowledge of deli products, food handling, and safety standards
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Hypermarket or supermarket experience is an advantage
