AURA Skypool is hiring a Retail Assistant to join the team at its boutique on the 50th floor of The Palm Tower, Palm Jumeirah. AURA’s retail offering — branded swimwear, resort wear, accessories and souvenirs — is an extension of the guest experience, and the Retail Assistant plays a key role in bringing it to life.
You will welcome guests into the retail space, guide them through the collection, process transactions and keep displays looking immaculate throughout the day. You will also support stock control, replenishment and inventory reporting. The role suits a friendly, sales-driven and well-presented individual who enjoys working with international guests in a premium environment. Previous retail or hospitality experience is an advantage, but attitude, energy and a genuine interest in the brand matter just as much.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests in the retail area, offering product knowledge and styling advice
- Drive sales and upselling while maintaining a relaxed, non-pushy guest experience
- Process sales accurately through the POS system and handle cash and card payments
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, displays and overall tidiness of the boutique
- Monitor stock levels, assist with replenishment, stock counts and deliveries
- Report best-sellers, slow movers and restocking needs to the retail supervisor
- Handle exchanges, returns and guest queries in line with company policy
Requirements
- Previous retail, boutique or customer-service experience preferred
- Confident, friendly and sales-oriented personality with strong communication skills
- Basic POS and cash-handling experience with good numerical accuracy
- Well-groomed and presentable, aligned with a premium lifestyle brand image
- Good spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
- Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced venue
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
