Bar Supervisor – Noren Restaurant Dubai (Pre-Opening) | JLT

Summary

Noren, a new contemporary dining concept opening in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), Dubai, is hiring a Bar Supervisor to lead its opening bar team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to help build a bar program from the ground up — setting drink standards, training bartenders, and managing stock and supplier relationships ahead of launch. You’ll work closely with the Manager to shape the guest experience at the bar, ensuring consistency, creativity, and smooth service from day one. The ideal candidate has previous bar supervisory experience, strong beverage knowledge, and the leadership skills to motivate a team through a demanding pre-opening period. If you’re passionate about mixology and want to leave your mark on a brand-new Dubai dining destination, this role offers genuine ownership over the bar concept.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily bar operations and oversee the bartending team.
  • Maintain beverage quality, presentation, and consistency across the bar menu.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and coordination with beverage suppliers.
  • Train staff on drink recipes, service standards, and responsible-service protocols.
  • Support the development and refinement of the bar and cocktail program.

Requirements

  • Previous experience supervising a bar team in a restaurant, lounge, or bar setting.
  • Strong beverage and mixology knowledge.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts, and the demands of a pre-opening schedule.
  • Availability to join immediately or on short notice.
