Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites and Apartments, a four-star property located along Sheikh Zayed Road, is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as Waiters/Waitresses. 🍽️ Position Overview

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is pleasant and memorable. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of guests while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

🧾 Key Responsibilities

• Guest Reception: Greet guests as they arrive and assist them to their table.
• Menu Assistance: Present menus, provide detailed information about the menu items, and answer any guest inquiries regarding food and beverage options.
• Order Management: Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
• Service Delivery: Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
• Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that guests are satisfied with their meals and address any concerns promptly.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Clear used dishes and utensils from tables, maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
• Knowledge Maintenance: Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, and be able to make recommendations to guests.
• Payment Processing: Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other methods, in accordance with company procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive Attitude: Positive attitude and willingness to assist guests and team members.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills for handling payments and processing transactions.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
