Supervisor – Ape Dubai

Job Description:

APE Hospitality is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Supervisor to join our team in Dubai. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily operations in the front-of-house, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our guests. You will support the Floor Manager in supervising staff, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Assist in managing the day-to-day activities of the restaurant, including greeting guests, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages.
• Monitor service levels and ensure that all guests are satisfied with their dining experience.
• Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Train, guide, and motivate staff to deliver high standards of customer service and hospitality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in all areas.
• Assist with inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained and organized.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure food and beverages are delivered in a timely manner.
• Monitor the team’s performance, providing feedback and support where needed.
• Manage cash handling, POS systems, and billing to ensure accuracy in transactions.
• Assist the Floor Manager with staff scheduling, ensuring appropriate coverage during peak and off-peak times.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of restaurant management systems and POS software.
• A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
