Runner — Ammos Greek Restaurant Azure Beach, Dubai
Ammos at Azure Beach is seeking a reliable, energetic Runner to join our front‑of‑house team and support a fast‑paced beachfront dining operation. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone who thrives on teamwork, enjoys being active on the floor, and takes pride in keeping service flowing smoothly. As a Runner you will be the backbone of service logistics—ensuring timely delivery of dishes, assisting servers and kitchen staff, and maintaining the high standards of presentation and cleanliness that define Ammos. The role offers hands‑on exposure to elevated Mediterranean service, opportunities for on‑the‑job training, and a clear pathway into server or supervisory positions within the Sunset Hospitality group.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plate delivery: Transport dishes from kitchen to tables quickly and safely while maintaining presentation standards.
  • Support servers: Assist servers with clearing, bussing, resetting tables, and refilling water and condiments.
  • Order accuracy: Check tickets and coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure correct items reach the right tables.
  • Side station maintenance: Keep service stations stocked with cutlery, napkins, condiments, and glassware.
  • Hygiene and safety: Follow sanitation procedures, assist with clearing spillages, and maintain a tidy dining area.
  • Event assistance: Support setup and breakdown for private dining, beach events, and pop‑ups at Azure Beach.
  • Teamwork: Participate in pre‑service briefings and post‑service debriefs; step in to help colleagues during peak periods.

Requirements

  • Experience: 0–1 year in hospitality preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate.
  • Physical fitness: Able to stand, walk, and carry trays for long shifts; comfortable lifting moderate weights.
  • Communication: Clear, polite English; additional languages (Greek, Arabic, Russian) are an advantage.
  • Attitude: Punctual, team‑oriented, attentive to detail, and guest‑centric.
  • Availability: Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays; willingness to attend training and trial shifts.
  • Basic skills: Comfortable with fast service pace, able to follow instructions, and maintain composure during busy periods.

Salary Scale

  • Monthly Salary Range: AED 2,500 – AED 3,500 depending on experience and shift availability.
  • Additional Compensation: Eligibility for service tips and performance‑based incentives.
  • Contract Notes: Final package confirmed at offer stage and may include transport allowance or staff accommodation support where applicable.
