Laundry Supervisor – The Tower Plaza Hotel Dubai

The Tower Plaza Hotel Dubai is seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily laundry operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and maintain smooth workflow within the department. The ideal candidate will lead the laundry team with efficiency, quality control, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the laundry team, ensuring timely washing, drying, ironing, and delivery of linens and uniforms.
• Inspect finished laundry items to ensure they meet hotel quality standards.
• Monitor laundry equipment performance and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of linen inventory, usage, and stock levels.
• Ensure proper handling, sorting, and processing of guest laundry and hotel linens.
• Train, guide, and support laundry staff to maintain productivity and service excellence.
• Implement and enforce hygiene, safety, and operational procedures in line with hotel policies.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to meet operational demands.
• Manage chemical usage, cost control, and waste reduction within the laundry operation.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Laundry Supervisor or senior laundry attendant in a hotel or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of laundry operations, fabric care, stain removal, and equipment handling.
• Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and maintain high productivity levels.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems are an advantage.
