Majestic Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and service‑driven Food & Beverage Captain to join our dynamic F&B team. The F&B Captain will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences across our outlets, mentoring service staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations that reflect Majestic’s standards of elegance and warmth. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Guest Service Excellence — Greet and seat guests, present menus, explain daily specials, and ensure every guest receives attentive, personalized service.
  • Service Leadership — Supervise and coordinate the service team during shifts; assign stations, monitor performance, and step in to assist during peak periods.
  • Order Management — Take and confirm orders accurately; liaise with kitchen and bar to ensure timely and correct delivery of food and beverages.
  • Quality Control — Monitor food and beverage presentation, portioning, and temperature; ensure consistency with brand standards.
  • Training and Development — Coach junior staff on service techniques, upselling, menu knowledge, and guest interaction; conduct briefings and on‑the‑job training.
  • Standards and Compliance — Enforce hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations; complete opening and closing checklists and incident reports as required.
  • Revenue and Cost Awareness — Support upselling initiatives, monitor covers and table turns, and report any wastage or discrepancies to management.
  • Guest Recovery — Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating to management when necessary and ensuring satisfactory resolution.
  • Shift Administration — Prepare shift handovers, maintain service logs, and assist with inventory counts and stock rotation when needed.
  • Event Support — Assist with setup and service for private events, banquets, and special promotions as required.

Requirements

  • Experience — Minimum 2–4 years in a supervisory or senior service role within a hotel or upscale restaurant; prior experience as a Captain, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager preferred.
  • Education — Diploma or certificate in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or equivalent preferred.
  • Skills — Strong guest‑service orientation; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident upselling and menu knowledge.
  • Leadership — Demonstrated ability to lead small teams, train staff, and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Technical — Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.
  • Standards — Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and local licensing requirements.
  • Language — Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Availability — Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Appearance and Conduct — Professional presentation and a polished, courteous manner consistent with Majestic Hotel Group standards.
  • Work Authorization — Right to work in the UAE or relevant country where the role is based.
