Laundry Valet – The Mangroves Abu Dhabi, LXR Hotels & Resorts | Abu Dhabi Jobs

The Laundry Valet looks after guest and hotel laundry, ensuring items are collected, cleaned, pressed and returned in perfect condition. During pre-opening you will help set up the laundry area, learn the equipment and follow processes that guarantee quality and timely service. This is a practical, detail-oriented role for someone who takes pride in careful work and wants to be part of a new luxury hotel team. Joining the pre-opening housekeeping and laundry team at The Mangroves Abu Dhabi, LXR Hotels & Resorts, the Laundry Valet will help deliver the spotless, welcoming spaces guests expect of a luxury resort. The hotel is hosting an invitation-only Recruitment Day, and shortlisted candidates will be contacted with an invitation to attend. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, press and fold guest and hotel laundry.
  • Operate laundry machines and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Tag and record items accurately and deliver them to guests within agreed times.
  • Handle delicate fabrics and stains with care.
  • Keep the laundry area clean, organised and compliant with safety rules.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of laundry equipment and fabric care.
  • Strong attention to detail and a service-minded attitude.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
