Louzan Fashion Hospitality is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. As a CDP, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring the production of high-quality dishes. If you have a passion for cooking, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, such as the grill, pastry, or sauté section, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest quality, in line with restaurant standards and recipes.
  • Assist in the creation of new menu items and seasonal specials.
  • Ensure that food is prepared and presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, following food safety and hygiene guidelines.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, helping them improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Assist with inventory management, ensuring the proper stock levels are maintained for your section.
  • Ensure that all dishes are served on time, during peak hours, and to the highest quality.
  • Monitor food safety standards, including proper storage, preparation, and handling of ingredients.
  • Maintain excellent communication with other kitchen staff to ensure a seamless service.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
