This position suits a personable, composed professional who excels at multitasking, communicates clearly, and enjoys creating positive moments for guests from the first hello to the moment they are seated. At MADO you will work closely with Hosts, Head Waiters, and the reservations team to deliver punctual seating, accurate reservation handling, and a seamless guest journey. The role offers practical exposure to guest relations, reservations systems, and service coordination, plus opportunities to grow into supervisory or guest-relations roles across our UAE outlets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain the reception area’s cleanliness, organisation, and visual appeal; check menus, promotional materials, and signage for accuracy.
  • Coordinate closely with Hosts, Head Waiter, and kitchen pass to manage peak seating periods and maintain flow between service stations.
  • Handle guest queries and minor complaints calmly and efficiently; escalate complex issues to the Head Waiter or manager with clear incident notes.
  • Monitor table turnover, anticipate clearing needs, and communicate with bussing staff to ensure quick table resets.
  • Assist with private event and banquet seating logistics when required, including guest lists, seating charts, and VIP handling.
  • Record guest feedback, VIP details, and repeat-guest preferences in the reservations system or logbook for follow-up.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and venue policies including capacity limits and guest conduct guidelines.
  • Participate in pre-shift briefings and handovers; follow instructions and contribute positively to team communications.

Requirements
